Raise money to fight poverty just by working out!

Join a global movement to fight poverty!

In 2006, Eric Harr, best-selling author, CBS fitness expert and professional triathlete, committed himself to the fight against poverty by joining CARE. He pledged to help people feel healthy, empowered, and inspired to support women around the world in realizing their full potential.

Raise money for CARE just by working out! For every hour you work out, doing whatever form of exercise you choose, Eric Harr will donate $5 to CARE, up to a maximum of $50,000. Work out five hours this week, and you will have automatically raised $25 for CARE! Feel good while doing good.

Every hour you work out equals $5 to support CARE's work! Follow this link http://www.care.org/feedback/workout.asp to log your workout hours now! There is no cost or obligation. You just log how many hours you have worked out (you can do it daily or you can do a summary report) and CARE will receive a donation from Eric Harr. Once you have logged 100 hours of exercise, you will even receive a free t-shirt.

Visit http://www.care.org/about/index.asp for more information. This is a great way to get motivated to workout for swimsuit season. Please bookmark CARE's workout log webpage to remind yourself to log your hours regularly!

31 Cent Scoop Night at Baskin-Robbins

For those of you looking for an inexpensive way to treat your children, Baskin-Robbins is hosting a 31 Cent Scoop Night in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Participating stores will reduce the price of small ice cream scoops to 31 cents.

In addition, a donation of $100,000 will be made by Baskin-Robbins to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. At select stores throughout the country, you may also have a chance to donate to your local fire station.

Who are we kidding, anyway? We know this is just an excuse to treat ourselves and let the kids think we are wonderful at the same time!
