Ooooo Yay!! I'm so excited! Riceworks makes Gourmet Brown Rice Chips and now they're giving them away for free! I printed off a bunch of these coupons when they were available before and redeemed them at SuperTarget. However, after I had already "purchased" a dozen bags, they told me they couldn't accept the coupon anymore since it didn't have an expiration date. Well, it's back, and this time it has an expiration date on it. Enjoy some free, full of fiber, yummy chips. If you don't have a SuperTarget near you, check here before printing the coupon to make sure you can buy them in your area.

Baby steals at Target
I scored some AWESOME baby deals yesterday at Target. I know that February is supposed to be the time of year for snagging good baby deals, so Target must be clearing out their old stock to bring in the new stuff for sales.
Anyway, we have been in the market for a booster seat with a back on it so we can move Price into that and have his car seat for Carmon when she comes home. We have been watching a $50+ one, waiting for it to go on sale. NO NEED to wait anymore. I got it yesterday at target for $17.22!! Score!
And, have you ever tried to buy cute bibs for babies that don't have corny sayings on them like: "Spit Happens"? Spare me. Who wants to see that on their dainty little girl? So I got some $5 bibs from the Dwell Studio line (LOVE it!) for $1.24 each. See how cute they are?
Hurry in for the best selection. This is the perfect time to stock up on baby gift items for your "gift closet".

Sad News
I haven't used this forum to update you on are news from China recently so here we go. I got some sad news today. Our home study is sitting in the immigration office in Chicago today. It will stay there for about 75 MORE days, unfortunately. We faced major setbacks this summer and fall getting our home study updated and filling out the form necessary to renew our approval to adopt a child from China. I have been in touch with various people over the past week and a half trying to get our approval expedited. Sometimes, I was quoted the "party line" that it was a 90 day process and sometimes I was told that it could be completed more quickly if I did this or that. Well, I did this AND that but received a call from our case manager confirming it would, in fact, take close to the full 90 days. It was quite a blow and I am still reeling from it. I had been holding out hope that we would be able to go as soon as we got our travel authorization, but it looks like the earliest we will be able to go get Carmon now is mid-late April.
Our case manager's name is Meredith. Please pray that our family is never far from her mind and that she is moved to pull our paperwork out of her stack and process it right away. We've tried to so patiently wait on the Lord, but this news today was too much to handle. Please pray for us.

Are you overloaded with free Johnson's Buddies soaps?
I have a request. As many of you know, we will be traveling to China within a month or two, Lord-willing, to bring our daughter home. I would like to take as many of these free bars of soap as possible to the orphanage when we go over. Here's where you come in: would you consider printing or clipping the coupons and mailing them to me so I can go "buy" them? It would mean so much to me. Recently there have been a few places advertised with coupons. See here, here, here, here, and here.
Thanks so much for considering this. If you will leave your address in a comment, I will contact you directly and give you my postal address.

Huggies Dipaers Online Printable Coupon
If you'd like some savings on Huggies diapers, click here. The coupon states that it is for Pull-Ups, but my cashiers have always allowed me to use Pull-Ups coupons for any Huggies diaper product and the cash register doesn't beep either. We prefer Pampers at our house, but Huggies has a nighttime diaper that we can't do without. Around 18 months, each of our three kids has had to switch to this more expensive variety :( because they start wetting through all normal diapers.

Cheap Bread and Milk at Walgreens
These days, I almost always buy my milk and bread at Walgreens. Have you stopped in one recently? The 2 that are most convenient to my house always have a 'cardboard shelf' right by the milk with Sara Lee Soft & Smooth bread displayed on it. On the display is a tear pad with a coupon for $1 off a gallon of milk when you buy that bread. The bread is usually $2 a loaf, but I have been pleasantly surprised several times to find it on sale for $1. This isn't really an advertised deal, and I don't know if the coupons are permanent, but I have been doing this for months already. The milk is usually $3.59 a gallon near me which is $0.10 more than my favorite grocery store, but I can't find 100% whole wheat bread for under $2 hardly ever!

Publix Deals Good Thru 1/07
This Sunday (1/04) some coupons came out that will work with current Publix deals...ones that end close of business this Wednesday (1/07) so act quickly:
Also, I saw a multi-pack of SpeedStick deoderant in the clearance section at my Publix for $1.90 and, with the BOGO coupon from the 1/04 paper, it would make each stick $0.95.
There's one other deal I noticed. In the Smartsource from 1/04 that has Kid Essentials drinks on the front, there's a rebate offer for a refund of 1/2 the price of certain Bayer Healthcare products including vitamins. There is also a coupon in that same insert for $1/1 One A Day multivitamins. In the Publix Advantage Buy paper that came out in the 1/04 newspaper, there's a coupon for $3.50/2 One A Day, Flintstones, or Citracal Products.
Deal:
Buy 2 One A Day multivitamins
Use:
Use the $3.50/2 off coupon from Publix
Use 2 $1/1 One A Day multivitamin coupons from Smartsource
Mail in for the rebate
End up with:
Really cheap or free multivitamins
The rebate is only good through 1/18 so you don't have long to take advantage of this offer.
I know that the rebate includes other Bayer products, that the Publix flyer had other medicine coupons, and that the Smartsource had other product coupons, but I was sepcifically looking for more multi vitamins for myself so this particular deal caught my eye.
Any deals you plan to do that others might want to know about?
See Cassie's blog for more Publix Deals for this week.

CLEARANCE CITY
I was at Target last night and they have a tremendous amount of stuff on clearance. EVERYTHING...from candles, to toys, to Christmas decorations, to electronics. You get my point. They even have the RayOVac batteries that were selling in the Dollar Spot on clearance for $.025 that I heard about from MoneySavingMom. So, if you still have some of the $1/1 coupons, you can get a $0.75 overage on the purchase of those. The link from MoneySavingMom to the coupon doesn't work anymore, but I still have some coupons printed. This is also a good time to buy a couple toys to keep in your stash for quick birthday gifts. I got a great deal on a Crayola marker set.
