If you know anything about me, you know our family tries to be fairly green. Being green and being economical often don't go together, so whenever I find something like Odwalla's program, I get excited.
For more than 25 years, Odwalla has been commited to keeping the planet as healthy as they want to keep us. That's why all of their bottles are recyclable, they reduce waste by fully utilizing 99% of the 143 million pounds of citrus and other material that comes into our planet each year, and they suppport organic farming and land conservation. To find out more about these activities and much more visit their website by clicking here.
Here comes the really exciting part though. As part of Odwalla's ongoing commitment to the earth, they will plant trees for you in state parks. Visit this site and tell them in which of the 8 state park systems you want them to plant a tree. That's it! Simple! Nothing else! Nada! No names! No email! No strings! Zilch! Well, you get the picture. AND, they will plant up to 5 trees per family by going to the site 5 times through December 31, 2008.
Happy planting!
