Since ebay so rarely runs money saving promotions, I am always thrilled to find out they are. Right now, you can receive an additional 8% off any purchase you make. Personally, I will be finding a gift certificate (Target probably) that our family can take advantage of, buy it at a discount, and then get this additional 8% discount. Then I can use the discounted gift card to purchase discounted items.
Also, if you go through UPromise when you purchase (not bid on) the gift card you choose, you will receive a contribution to your children's 529 College Savings Account.
